Welcome to Kobe Union Church

KUCWe are an exciting international, english-speaking Christian church serving the families of Kobe. We love our rich history, but are committed to relevant Bible teaching for today's generation and looking forward to raising up leaders for the future. We welcome people from all Christian traditions or denominations as well as those seeking to understand God for the first time. We encourage everyone to join us as we seek to know and love God more every week!

“Our vision is to be a grace-filled and Christ-led church that is a welcoming, growing, and sending body of Christian believers in Kobe.”

We need your photo!
Here’s an idea. Why not on your vacation have a photograph taken of your family? Then bring a small print of it back with you and put it on the photo board in the foyer. The present photos will give you an idea of the size we want… and preferably head and shoulders only, so they are nice and big!

TO DRIVERS
1) If you haven’t registered your car yet, PLEASE REGISTER A.S.A.P.  The signup sheet is in the foyer. We’ll provide a parking card the following Sunday.
2) If you’ve already registered your car, please pick up your parking card from the foyer.  When you park, please leave your parking card at the front window.
3) Please do not park your car in front of the school playground.

Do you need a ride from Rokko Island to the church either Sunday or Wednesday mornings? Gerard and Heather will be driving up in the church van, leaving the island at 8am Sunday and 9am Wednesday and have room for up to 6 passengers. Let them know (or call the office) if you are interested (we could collect from the Entente if that would be helpful)…. and they can probably provide a ride back again after the "events" on those days.

Like to help with the singing, but can't make it to rehearsals? Then would you like to join a group of singers to help with the opening and closing music on Sundays? The only request that we make is that you turn up at 9.00am on Sundays so you can practice with the organ/piano/accompaniment! So here's the invitation … turn up anytime from February, and help our worship!

Did you know that we have a library? And it’s a wonderful library!
Take time to go to the top floor, turn right, go into the big room and look around the walls. Derek Voss has done a wonderful job cataloguing everything. It has a great selection of up to date Christian books … on almost anything you might be interested in!!!
